Best Watches That Vibrate

The thought of a vibrating watch is actually an amazing concept, it provides the ability to send you notifications in stealth without disturbing anyone else. Its a feature that is commonly found in smart watches, but is also available in some regular digital watches and sports watches. So Ive decided to do my own research and testing and come up with a little guide of some of the best watches that vibrate, to help you narrow your search down for an efficient vibrating wrist watch.

Some situations in which a vibrating watch will come in handy:

  • You may have a hearing or sight impairment
  • You have a job that doesn’t allow sound from electronics
  • You have a wife or girlfriend you do no want to wake up in the morning
  • Any situation in which you don’t want others to know you’re receiving notifications

The black 8 looks quite sporty in style, but also fairly basic, although its function is extraordinary. The Black 8 is rated as one of the best vibrating/reminder watches do to its alarm settings, which has 8 different notification modes, and its quite easy to navigate the display.

The Wobl Black 8 is praised as one of the best vibrating reminder watches for hearing and visually impaired people, as you can set reliable custom reminders for medically related issues. TIMEX Men’s T498519J Rugged Digital CAT Vibration Alarm Watch

top-vibrating-timex-t498519j

Timex is such a well known brand you can practically buy any watch from them and be satisfied. The T498519J Rugged Digital Cat is a great timepiece and suitable as a blind buy if you have no where to check it out before purchase.

The T498519J has all the features you would expect from an expedition type watch, including the highly sought after vibrating notifications. This vibrating watch is quite athletic in appearance and functions as more of an all around sports/expedition type of watch rather then solely a piece designed for extensive notifications. You should feel quite comfortable in casual social settings wearing this rugged vibrating piece, as well as out in nature swimming, hiking, or exploring natural terrain. It’s also water proof up to 330 feet and makes an excellent snorkelling watch.

The VibraLite mini is a simple and minimalist in its look, but is boasting a large 12-alarm vibration function under the case. The display is large and allows for easy reading, or reading from a distance. The case is quite small and sits very nicely on smaller wrists.

The VibraLite Mini is made specifically to provide a great variety of vibrating notifications and is not really designed for sports or robust use. This timepiece is an excellent choice for those who need silent vibrating notifications with a comfortable, lightweight, and low profile fit. The VibraLite is not waterproof and best kept away from water all together.

    Good morning.
I bought a Casio watch specifically for the vibrating alarm feature, so I could wake up without waking my wife who sleeps an hour and a half later than I do. The problem is the vibration is not very strong and it stops automatically after a few seconds. I am a pretty heavy sleeper so this watch only wakes me up once in a while, like if I am already stirring on my own. I am looking for a watch that has a powerful vibration that won’t stop until I wake up and stop it. Not looking for fashion at all! I just need something that will get me out of bed without ruining my wife’s morning. Any suggestions?

@Don Card If you like Casio, try to look for GB-5600B or GB-6900B or STB-1000. All got the strongest vibration strength in the Casio brand. I would say it is even stronger than Timex T49851. They all got 4 alarm + 1 Snooze alarm. If you set them all in a row, it should wake you up. Give it a try. HTH.

    Hi There
It has been so nice to find this blog. Hope someone can help me with my search for another watch similar (alarm +vibrate) to replace my beloved Casio Futurist which succumbed to old age after 18 years! It’s no longer available:(
I have been searching for another one but no success. Please, is there any recommendations that can help me replace my Casio Futurist?
I am an old lady and have no interest in monitoring blood pressure or any physical function for that matter and not going to dive either.
I truly appreciate any help. Thank you so much.
    Cheers
    Sara

HOW WE WORK

Our blog is about honest and fair reviews of each timepiece we evaluate. We do not have any bias for or against any watch or company and work hard to maintain that neutrality. In this age of corporate placement everywhere, we just wanted to let you know we’re on your side, and always will be.

When readers choose to buy watches after reading our reviews we earn a small commission. Here is an explanation of our review process, and how to support our work. We obtain watches through a combination of buying our own and/or having them sent to us directly from the company.
