Michael Kors Women’s Norie Pink MK2617 Watch Review

Michael Kors Women's Norie Pink MK2617 Watch Review

The Michael Kors Women’s Norie Pink MK2617 watch is a nice fashion/casual everyday wear type of timepiece. The MK brand hasn’t veered too far away from their roots in terms of design style, function and wearability. They like to keep things simple but also make sure they keep up with trends in the fast changing fashion industry.

MK2617 Details and Construction

The first thing that stood out to me was the quilted pink leather band which fastens with a little buckle, these details give the Norie MK2617 a very unique but also feminine style. It’s not a dainty watch like someside-photo-mk2617 other women’s watches we have reviewed, but it gives off more of an everyday casual look that can easily be paired with jeans to juicy couture clothing.

The face of the watch is nice and round, matching the crystal encrusted bezel. Inside the face on the dial you will find classy roman numeral markings, giving this piece a nice elegant touch. The case of the watch is made of a high polished stainless steel, which catches the eye, but may also invite some unwanted scratches after prolonged wear.

The inner workings is nothing too special. The MK2617 timepiece is kept ticking with a basic but reliable analog quartz movement. For the price I would have like to have seen a swiss movement, but this watch is all about fashion. It definitely looks the part but will not function up to the standards of some other pieces in the same price range.

Specs

  • Waterproof to 100mback-photo-norie
  • The window is mineral
  • Fastens with a buckle clasp
  • The case measures 38 mm
  • Band is a quality quilted genuine leather
  • This piece weighs 5.76 Oz
  • Powered by analog quartz movement

Wearing The Norie

The Norie MK2617 is a joy to wear (according to my girlfriend). The soft leather band paired with the average size case (38 mm) allows it to sit snug on the wrist, and should accommodate a wide range of wrist sizes. The case and bezel are relatively clean and minimalist with no protruding knobs or dials, it only contains one simple crown to adjust the time on the right side of the watch.

Is it the right watch for you?

If fashion and style is what your looking for then you can’t go wrong with the Michael Kors Women’s Norie Pink MK2617 Watch. It truly lives up to the standards in the looks and comfort department, although it seems to lack a little bit in the construction quality and inner mechanics.

At the time of writing this review, this MK watch is actually a new release so I don’t really have any other reviews to read through and gauge how others like this model. So in the case of the Norie, we will have to wait and see how it holds up to the test of time, and how it’s perceived by other buyers.

HOW WE WORK

Our blog is about honest and fair reviews of each timepiece we evaluate. We do not have any bias for or against any watch or company and work hard to maintain that neutrality. In this age of corporate placement everywhere, we just wanted to let you know we’re on your side, and always will be.

When readers choose to buy watches after reading our reviews we earn a small commission. Here is an explanation of our review process, and how to support our work. We obtain watches through a combination of buying our own and/or having them sent to us directly from the company.
