Movado Women’s 3600245 Two-Tone Watch Review

January 17, 2017 by Matthew Catellier Leave a Comment — Updated on January 22, 2024

Movado Women's 3600245 Two-Tone Watch ReviewMovado’s model 3600245 is a beautiful luxury watch designed for women of all walks of life. It’s beautifully elegant silver-tone sunray dial and gold accents, coupled with the two-toned gold and silver stainless steel band make this one of the prettiest watches on the market in this price range. The watch features a stainless steel case, a stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployment clasp, a mineral crystal dial window, and a stationary stainless steel bezel. Not only is it gorgeous, but it has the functionality and build quality that Movado is known for.

Build Quality & Specs

As you might already guess, the build quality on the 3600245 timepiece is absolutely outstanding. This entire device is essentially made of high-quality stainless steel. The case, bracelet, clasp, and bezel are all stainless steel and feel very well-made and would take quite a bit of effort to break. In terms of size specifications, the case has a diameter of 32mm, a thickness of 7mm, and the band has a width of 11mm. The delicate parts of the watch are further protected by a standard mineral glass dial window.

The watch functions perfectly, especially since it doesn’t have the added complexity of a chronograph to worry about. Additionally, it is powered by a Swiss quartz movement system that ensures absolute precision and timing consistency. Because of the simple design, there is only one crown and it’s easy to use and manipulate. The stainless steel clasp on the band is completely functional and allows you to take the Movado 3600245 on and off with ease.

The watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters. To me, there is absolutely no reason to take this watch into the water. It’s not meant to be taken swimming or even worn in the shower for that matter. If you’re going to spend a significant amount on a watch, you certainly don’t want it to go to waste because you accidentally wore it during a bath, though I have no idea how you wouldn’t notice it on your wrist way before.

One interesting thing that I enjoy about the 3600245 watch is the shape of the case, specifically how it spatially relates and connects with the band. Many luxury watches are known for having a case and bezel that’s proportionately larger and wider than the band. This timepiece, however, has a silver-toned part on each side of the case that helps connect it to the band. These pieces make the transition between the case and band look very form-factor and sleek, adding to the overall beauty of the device itself.

Color Options

The colors used in the 3600245 are absolutely gorgeous. The elegant gold accents against the silver dial backdrop and the two-toned silver/gold stainless steel band make this watch one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. I personally prefer silver over gold when it comes to jewelry because it, in my opinion, looks more graceful. If you prefer more gold in your jewelry, there is an option from Movado that is very similar to this watch, but it puts gold where the silver is and silver where the gold is.

Overview

Overall, the Movado 3600245 two-tone watch is fantastic. It’s absolutely stunning in appearance and style and also has perfect functionality in its hardware. In a dress watch like this, it’s all about luxury and appearance. And boy, does Movado deliver with this piece. It feels just as good as it looks and functions without any hiccups whatsoever. If you’re in the market for a new watch, whether it be for yourself or a special lady, this one should absolutely be on your watchlist.
