Locman 1960 Automatic Watch Review

In the world of watches, there are some designs that seem to transcend trends and capture the essence of elegant design. The Locman 1960 series does just that as it blends the creativity and energy of the 1960s but with a modern design.

Every watch in their 1960 series is pure in design with minimalist design touches. It’s no wonder that you’re interested in this watch, so let’s take a look at it in a little more detail.

Elegant Design and Stunning Color Options

Locman 1960 Elegant Design

There are two distinctive design options with this stunning Italian watch. The first features long baton-shaped hour markers which are as sophisticated and elegant as it gets. The second showcases minute markers punctuated by Arabic numbers which is a little more playful but it’s still a smart design.

The color palette available for the Locman 1960 is vast, and there are plenty of options for both men and women. On the men’s models, the darker tones exude a sophisticated sense of charisma, strength, and masculinity.

The more pastel shades on the women’s watches have a more subtle and delicate air. Whether on the wrist of a man or a woman, this is a fantastic dress watch that is perfect for those looking for affordable luxury.

Case Design

The case of the Locman 1960 is crafted from stainless steel and has a glossy finish, which is enhanced by a rose gold PVD coating. The case itself is fairly slim which is ideal for those who don’t like wearing bulky watches. Its traditional design is also helped by the slightly convex shape which is similar to other watches from the 60s.

One of the most unique features of this watch is the slender bezel, which can make the dial look bigger than it actually is. It’s a clever piece of design that helps to amplify the visual impact of the timepiece.

For the three-hand quartz, chronograph, and large date versions, the case measures 41mm in diameter, with that going up to 42mm for those who prefer the self-winding movement version. For the ladies’ versions, that diameter drops to 32mm.

Dial Options and Versatility

Many love the design choices that you get with the Locman 1960. The dial is available in finishes of either matt or sun-brushed enamel. The color options are impressive, with black, ivory, grey, and blue for the men, and  blue and pink for the women.

The watch we were lucky enough to get our hands on is the black dial version which impressed us with its timeless style and elegance. Whether attending a formal event or something more casual, this is a watch that is suitable for almost any event.

That versatility is further enhanced by the three strap options of either leather, nylon, or Milanese mesh steel. Our favorite what the classic style of the leather strap but the Milanese bracelet is more likely to turn heads.

Final Thoughts

The Locman 1960 watch collection is the epitome of timeless Italian design. It takes all of the incredible design elements of the 1960s and puts them into a modern watch fit for any event. For those looking for an affordable watch that sparks feelings of opulent luxury, you can’t go wrong with any watch from Locman’s 1960 series.
