Introducing the New Meister S Chronoscope from Junghans

November 2, 2020 by Matthew Catellier Leave a Comment

Meister S Chronoscope from Junghans

Junghans Uhren GmbH is a German watch and clock manufacturer founded by Jakob Zeller Tobler and Erhard Junghans in 1861. The company is headquartered in Schramberg, Baden-Wurttemberg in the Black Forest of southwest Germany and prides itself on its quality, reliability, and emotion – which has never been more apparent than it is today with the release of the new Meister S Chronoscope.

Three Beautiful Editions

Meister S Chronoscope black edition

There are three breathtaking versions of the Meister S Chronoscope. Two of them have metal straps – a mixture of matte and polished stainless steel – and are unlimited in their availability. The other version has a comfortable synthetic rubber strap with striking red accent stitching and the name of the watch emblazoned on the underside of the strap against the wrist. It has  a stainless steel folding clasp in black PDV-coating. If this is your favorite of the three, act fast because It is limited to only 888 units.

Sportiness Meets Elegance

The face of this Meister is athletic yet sophisticated. It was designed with the goal of being appropriate both for work and for play, whether you’re in an urban environment or taking an alpine adventure. Wherever time is of the essence, this watch makes an impressive accessory.

Red hands on dial

All of the straps can be easily tightened for sporting activities. The interplay of the convex dial and concave immersion of the totalizers is classic to the Meister series. The case has a height of 15.9 mm, and the convex sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating on both sides. Junghan’s star artwork is featured on the stainless steel back.

The hands have environmental-friendly Superluminova luminous substance, in red or white depending on the model you select. The dial is matte anthracite with green-black effect lacquer or tachymeter scale, depending on the model. The chronometer features second-stop and a 30-minute and 12-hour counter. All three models are self-winding with date and weekday displays (available in German or English), power reserve of up to 48 hours, and water resistant up to 20 bar.

Add One to Your Collection

Overall, these three watches are an excellent addition to the renowned Meister collection and will be beloved by many collectors and casual purchasers alike.
