Citizen Men's BM7320-52L Eco-Drive Watch Review

When Citizen designed the BM7320 series of watches, they wanted to create a watch that would be comfortable to wear for any occasion. Citizen wanted to bring together classic design, sporty influence, and a casual feel so that numerous individuals would be drawn to the look and feel of the BM7320 family of watches. They succeeded! The Citizen BM7320-52L Eco-Drive Watch is the perfect amalgamation of 3 very distinct styles and can be worn anywhere. With its color combination and its rippled dial, this watch by is bold, striking and definitive of what Citizen stands for.

Strong Silent Type

The BM7320-52L has stylish stainless-steel construction. The round case measures in at a solidBM7320-52L natural front view 42.5mm and 12mm thick. With the crown included, the casing measures 45mm. With a matching Stainless Steel three link bracelet wristband that is a standard men’s length of 22mm wide, the BM7320-52L is strong and rust resistant because of the 4% Chromium addition within the stainless steel. It fastens around the wrist securely with the fold over clasp with double push button closure. You will find a slight curve to the links within the bracelet. These curves provide additional comfort for the wearer.

The stationary bezel is raised and has an exceptionally polished finish that contrasts nicely against the brushed finish of the bracelet links. A mineral crystal gives this watch additional strength and like most mineral crystal watches is shatter proof but not scratch resistant. Underneath the mineral crystal dial window, the analog display has Japanese quartz movement and has a soft ticking motion when the hands are moving.

What makes this Citizen watch stand out, is the simple elegance and sporty edge. The blue toned dial has a smooth finish on the outer edges and a distinct pinstripe texture in the center. This variation adds depth and interest and is fittingly paired with applied partial Arabic numerals that are polished silver. The non-numbered hour markers and the hands have a luminous overlay that makes this watch readable at any given time of day or night. A side view and crown calendar window with easy to read numbers in matching Arabic typeface is located at three o’clock. Although it is not a perpetual calendar, setting the date is straightforward.

BM7320-52L: Driven by the Sun

Eco-Drive technology is something that Citizen has perfected over the years. The BM7320-52L is light powered and charges fastest in direct sun. The solar cell from a full charge will last approximately eight months until it stops. This timepiece has a convenient insufficient charge warning function to alert the wearer that the watch needs to be charged. From the time the insufficient charge warning happens, you will have approximately seven days of life left in the solar cell. To keep the cell powered sufficiently, charge on a daily basis with artificial or natural light. Eco-Drive Technology takes away the hassle of changing batteries ever two years. The cell life of the Eco-Drive watches last over ten years. Eco-Drive technology saves you both time and money.

This is the perfect timepiece for surface water sports. It has a rating for water resistance to a depth of 110m/330ft.
