Introducing New Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Collection

Introducing New Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Collection

Jaeger-LeCoultre is a Swiss watch manufacturer based in the Vallée de Joux, and has been wowing the public with stunning watches since 1833. At the start of October 2020, they introduced the Polaris Mariner line – two gorgeous diving watches that are now a part of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris collection. This entire collection is inspired by the Grande Maison’s iconic 1968 Memovox Polaris.

Memovox

JLC Memovox

First up is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox. With dimensions of 42 mm by 15.63 mm, it displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. It features the classic three crown configuration. It also has an alarm function and a unidirectional rotating inner bezel. When the alarm on this watch rings, it is said to have the charming sound of a school bell. The dial is gradient blue and sunrayed with grained and opaline finishes. This watch is water resistant up to 30 bars and has a power reserve of 45 hours.

Mariner Date

Mariner Date

Next up is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Date. Like the Memovox, this watch has automatic mechanical movement, but rather than Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 956, it has Caliber 899. Its dial, case, and bracelet are quite similar in appearance to the Memovox, though its dimensions are a bit smaller at 42mm x 13.92mm. This version boasts a 70-hour power reserve, thanks to the technical improvements of its caliber. It features dual-crown configuration, using the upper crown to operate the bezel and the lower to set the date and time.

Both of these watches have SuperLumiNova in the hands, indexes, and numerals, ensuring readability even in dim places, which is fitting given they are intended to perform well for divers. In both watches, the case and bracelet are made of eye-catching stainless steel. The case back is made of transparent sapphire, so you can look through it to see the hammer at work. Overall, this design gives the watches a sporty yet sophisticated look that’s perfect whether you’re swimming underwater or going about your daily life in a big city.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has a long history of producing top of the line diving watches and they don’t disappoint with these new creations. To add this combination of sporting character and signature Jaeger-LeCoultre elegance to your own collection, visit jaeger-lecoultre.com. The Polaris Mariner Memovox is available for $17,600 and the Polaris Mariner Date is $11,100. They are available with up to eight years of warranty. Jaeger-LeCoultre also offers a Care Program to help you maintain the beauty and functionality of your purchase.
